Process
-
All projects start with an in-person consultation. Here we will discuss important information about the project, including the scope, goals, time frame, and investment amount. During this appointment, Alden will walk through your space and provide ideas and suggestions for your project. Working with an interior designer is a collaborative experience, so it is important to decide if we would be a good fit at the consultation.
-
After solidifying the scope at the consultation meeting, Alden will write a proposal describing the deliverables and projected design fees for your project. Once the proposal is approved, we will send you a contract to sign so we can officially begin.
-
The design phase begins once your contract is signed. We will meet and have an in-depth conversation about aesthetics, goals, timeframe and budget. I will create floor plans, mood boards and drawings of all the spaces needed. I will also spend time sourcing materials and decor, and creating a projected budget for your project.
We will sit down for a design presentation – after this meeting you will provide any revision requests. Based on your feedback, I will create changes necessary to the design. Then I will create detailed drawing sets for your project. Electrical views, plumbing, elevations, etc. will be provided to the contractor and all tradespeople. Then we can get started making the vision a reality. -
Once the design plan is finalized, I will meet with contractors and tradespeople as needed to make sure the project is implemented per our design plan.
The project management stage is paid upfront, based on a projected amount of hours needed. I will procure materials, furnishings, and decor, which will be approved and paid for by the client beforehand. I will track and manage all deliveries to the site so the process is as seamless as possible for you.

All work is complete and all furnishings have been delivered and installed. A photoshoot may be arranged to document the project, at your convenience.
Congratulations! You can fully enjoy your new space.
