This project was very close to home- my sister’s kitchen, located next door to my house. Our jumping off point for the space was the work of Jane Austen. We highlighted the vintage charm of the over 100 year old home by preserving what we could- pocket doors and large wooden windows.

We elevated the once tired space, with all new cabinetry, fixtures, tile and flooring. It is now a space with vintage charm, and all the modern conveniences of a 21st century home, including an elegant electric stove. Sustainability was at the forefront of this project, so we focused on using eco-minded vendors as well as salvaged and vintage decor.
